Paper Recycling Bins

In the upcoming weeks, the paper recycling bins at the north end of the back parking lot will be removed.  These paper recycling bins have been in place for many years, and initially provided our parish with a small but steady income every month as we received financial benefits based on the amount of paper recycled.  Over the years, however, curbside recycling has become prevalent in communities, and these bins no longer provide any revenue.  Additionally, they have been the target of vandalism, including fires, which endanger our property and people’s lives.  We are working with our trash hauler to ensure that the school and rectory continue to recycle our waste paper after the bins are removed.

We thank everyone who has been so supportive over the years and have come faithfully to recycle your newspapers and other paper waste.  We are grateful for the support, but it is time to make this change.  Thank you.
